Founding families

Join the founding families

Smarkle is opening to a few families at a time. The waiting list is how we choose each small group with care, and how you'll hear when it's your turn.

Founding families are guided closely by one of the people who founded Smarkle, and it's a paid engagement. See what it costs and who it isn't for.

At a sunlit dinner table, a boy and his father share a high five while a girl and her mother laugh beside them.

Why a waiting list

More than a list of emails

A sign-up box tells us almost nothing about your family, and tells you even less about whether Smarkle will suit you. Our waiting list is built so that both of us know, before anyone commits.

Is it right for you?You find out after you've signed up.You find out straight away, with honest notes about what it doesn't do yet.
What you shareOften more than it needs. An email, a first name if you like, a few answers about the shape of your family, and your three scores. Nothing about any child.
What you hearThe same emails as everyone else.A few short notes while you wait, and an invitation when there's a place for your family.
How families arriveAll at once.In small founding cohorts, so each family gets real attention.

How it works

Three steps, at your own pace

  1. Two parents and two young children lean in around a wooden kitchen table in morning light, sharing an open book.

    Take the assessment

Fifteen short statements, about 4 minutes. You see your results straight away, and your answers stay on your device.

  2. A mother and her young son, both in aprons, chop carrots and greens side by side at a kitchen counter.

Tell us a little about your family

A few quick questions about the shape of your family: how many homes, roughly how many people, who might lead. No names, and nothing about any child. You'll see right away whether it's a good fit.

  3. Grandparents, parents and children of three generations share a candlelit meal around a table, laughing together.

    Get invited in small groups

We welcome founding families a few at a time. When there's a place for yours, we email an invitation. Take your time: if the timing isn't right, your place is kept.

What founding families get

A place at the beginning

  • A private space for your family

Your vision, rhythms, traditions and memories in one place that belongs to your family. No ads, no trackers.

  • A start set up by hand

We set up each founding family's space ourselves, and send everything you need to get started.

  • A say in what comes next

Founding families help shape what we build, and we listen closely to every one.

  • A conversation first

For the earliest cohorts, a short call before anything is settled, so we can both check it's a good fit.

A mother lies back on a sofa laughing with a boy and a girl curled up against her.

An honest note on privacy

Your family's life belongs to your family

Your assessment answers are scored on your device and never sent to us. If you join, we keep your email, your first name if you give it, your three dimension scores, your answers to the family questions, and anything you write in the optional note. Nothing about any child, ever.

There are no ads and no trackers on this site. Every email we send has a link that deletes everything we keep, straight away.

A teenage boy in an apron tosses a salad at the kitchen counter while his mother watches with a cup of tea.

Begin with what's already strong.

Take the assessment, see your results, and decide from there. There's nothing to sign up for until you choose to.
