HearthScreen.

Your family's board, framed in walnut.

A thirty-two-inch touch screen in a handcrafted frame, hung where the family already gathers.

A father watches his daughter point at the family board on a framed touch screen hung on the kitchen wall.
Illustration. The finished screen and frame may differ.

The frame

Solid walnut. Mitred by hand.

Made to hang like a picture, not a television, with the grain turning each corner.

The wall view

Wide over the counter. Tall beside the door.

This is the real board, drawn from a sample family. Turn it to hang tall, or press Focus for just today, what's next and a memory.

The wall view needs a wider screen. On a phone you'll see the everyday view.

Every day

What the family sees at a glance.

  • Today

The day's plan and what's coming this week, in each person's colour, read from across the kitchen.

  • Whose turn

Supper together, a Friday movie, a quiet Sunday. The rhythms you keep, and whose turn it is, so nobody has to ask.

  • Tonight's dinner

The week's dinners, planned on a phone, there on the wall when someone asks what's for supper.

  • Children tick their own

A child taps their picture, types their own short code and ticks off their chores. It locks again on its own.

The wall and your phone

Hand in hand.

The HearthScreen is the family's order at a glance. Each person's phone is where their own life goes deeper. Plans flow from the phone to the wall; what's private stays on the phone.

→From your phone to the wall

  • Plan the week's dinners, and tonight's is on the wall
  • Add a family event, and it's on the wall's day
  • Approve a photo, and it joins the wall when it rests
  • A parent writes a note, and the wall can read it aloud

←From the wall to your phone

  • Glance at the wall, then go deeper on your phone, in private
  • A child taps their picture and code to tick their own chores, right on the wall

Coming next: tap your picture on the wall and send something straight to your phone.

Where things live

Real screens from a sample family. Swipe through.

  • On the wall

    Today

The day's plan, whose turn and a thought for the family.

  • On the wall

    The rhythms you keep

Supper together, a Friday movie, a quiet Sunday.

  • On the wall

    Memories

Photos a parent has approved, for the wall to rest on.

  • On the wall

    Whose turn, and the vision

The family's own words, where everyone sees them.

  • Only in the app

    Issues you're working through

Worked through in the app. The wall never shows them.

  • Only in the app

    Messages

Between the people they're meant for. Never on the wall.

  • Only in the app

    Your own calendar

Private and couple calendars stay off the wall.

Also kept to the app: workouts and your own plan, a child's goals, and your reflections and deep dives.

Calm by design

No ads. No store. No feeds. It never scrolls.

  • Photos when it rests

When nobody's using it, photos a parent has approved, and if you like, great paintings in between.

  • Sleeps when the house does

Set the hours. At night it dims to black, and a tap wakes it.

  • Everything in its place

A few cards, arranged once for each screen. The board never scrolls, so it reads the same every morning.

Private stays private

A family hearth, not a window into your family.

The wall never shows private calendars, couples' plans or messages. A screen is nobody: it holds no password and no person, and a parent can remove it at any moment.

How your family is protected

Still being settled

What we'll tell you soon.

The first frames are being made now. These are still being settled, and founding families help shape them:

  • The screen inside the frame
  • Finishes for the walnut
  • How it mounts, wide or tall
  • Delivery and setting it up in your home
  • The final price

How to have one

Founding families first.

The HearthScreen isn't sold on its own yet. It belongs with the family space and the guidance around it, so founding families can order one first.
